This journey isn’t about creating “perfect” art—it’s about using creativity as a gateway to self-discovery, emotional clarity, and healing.

Through guided support and deep exploration, you’ll reconnect with yourself in a way that feels natural and intuitive—all from the comfort of your home.

 

If you're on the Big Island of Hawaii, in-person sessions are also available.

This is for those seeking a deeper connection to themselves—whether it's finding joy, healing anxiety, reclaiming your authentic voice, exploring low self-confidence and lack of trust, expressing emotions or working through dysfunctional patterns and beliefs. 

This is a space to explore, release, and transform—without pressure, expectation, or the need for artistic skill.

Your Art Therapy Session

Length:
Sessions run 60–90 minutes (depending on intention, age, avaialbility, needs etc), offering spaciousness to settle in, create, and integrate.

Location: Online or In-Person (private location in Holualoa, Big Island, Hawaii)

The Flow of a Session:

  • Grounding – We begin with the breath — a pause to arrive in your body. A gentle check-in follows, giving voice to where you are today.

  • The Creative Process – Guided by intuition, you enter into painting or working with clay. You don’t need skill — just willingness. The focus is on expression, not perfection.

  • Layered Modalities – Depending on what arises, we may weave in ancestral healing, therapeutic conversation, soulful coaching, storytelling, or additional art therapy exercises. Sometimes a thread of psychotherapy or a somatic (body-based)practice helps deepen the process.

  • Exploration & Reflection – Together we witness what emerges. Colors, images, or forms often carry messages beyond words. We explore them with curiosity and compassion.

  • Closure & Integration – Each session closes with a clear summary: the themes, insights, and feelings that came through.

You may also receive a reflection, a journaling prompt, personalized meditation, nature-inspired process or a creative exercise to carry into your days — a way of continuing and solidifying the progress.

Every session is uniquely yours — a blend of creativity, depth, and healing presence.

What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy is a powerful healing modality that integrates creative expression with emotional exploration and self-discovery. Unlike traditional talk therapy, it allows you to communicate feelings and emotions, dysfunctional patterns, unconscious beliefs using colors, shapes, and movement as a form of self-expression. Of course, there's a therapeutic conversation involved and a lot more. 

This process isn’t about artistic skill or creating “beautiful” artwork—it’s about using art as a tool for reflection, emotional release, and personal transformation. It's about making your internal landscape visible. 

 

Each brushstroke, texture, or gesture on the canvas can reveal subconscious thoughts, feelings, and patterns, helping you gain clarity, release emotional blockages, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.

My Unique Approach to Art Therapy

In my art therapy process, we begin with intention—tapping into somatic (body-based) awareness and using the non-dominant hand to bypass the analytical mind and access deeper emotions (just at the beginning).

This creative journey becomes a living mirror, gently revealing what’s ready to be seen, felt, and transformed, what’s alive in you, what’s emerging beneath the surface, and what’s asking for care, clarity, or release.

 

It’s not about creating “art”—it’s about allowing what’s within you to come forward in a safe, supported, and intuitive way.

You’ll receive personalized meditations, reflection prompts, and nature-inspired therapeutic tools to help you stay connected to your process. Some clients may be invited to explore simple creative or embodied exercises at home to deepen their integration in grounded, meaningful ways.
